Covet Tuesday

I am absolutely in love with these pieces from Shabd Simon-Alezander. I'm usually not a fan of tie dye but these watercolor designs are stunning! Not to mention, the fit looks extremely comfortable and chic!

What are some pieces you've been coveting lately?

SF Bike to Work Day!!

Via: Rides A Bike

Good morning everyone!! Hope you're all well rested. I just wanted to send out a reminder that today is the 17th annual Bike to Work Day put on by the SF Bicycle Coalition. So ditch that Clipper card and hop on that old bike for a scenic ride to work. You wont regret it!

P.S. There will also be great swag bags and snacks passed out at these locations. Be sure to stop by and pick one up!!

Happy/Safe Riding!!

DIY: Spring Skirt

For a while San Francisco weather has been rainy/windy and of course chilly. But these past few weeks have been absolutely gorgeous. With that being said I decided to dust off an old dress I bought from the Goodwill and decided to revamp it for spring.

Below is the dress in its original form. It looks as though it was made in the late 80's early 90's. I'm in love with the print and though it only appropriate to bust it out while the weather is hot.

As a way to keep this look current I decided to cut the top part completely in order to save the bottom of the dress. I've been noticing a lot of skirts this season with that Grace Jones elegance, and decided to run with that idea. It goes wonderfully with a basic racer-back tank and a dark belt to pull it together. Also a pair of nude platform sandals or masculine combat boots can really add character to this spring assemble as well ;)

Sorry for the lack of posts these past weeks. I've been transitioning jobs and trying to re-work my schedule. But now I have more time than before to post fresh content. I've got some exciting projects in the works and I can't wait to share them with you!
